About the Role

We’re seeking a detail-focused and digitally-savvy Merchandising Production Executive to support the ongoing optimisation of Lakeland.co.uk and our marketplace platforms. Working closely with the E-commerce Manager and Digital Traders, you'll play a vital role in the day-to-day management of site content, merchandising, and campaign execution — ensuring a seamless, high-quality shopping experience for our customers.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a passion for digital retail and an eye for content accuracy, performance, and user experience.

Key Responsibilities in this role are:

• Shared responsibility for the timely addition of new products to Lakeland.co.uk and marketplace platforms, aligned with launch schedules.

• Upload, validate, proofread, and publish product content via the e-commerce CMS.

• Execute site search and navigation updates, including search redirects, synonyms, antonyms, menus, taxonomy, sort orders, and recommended products.

• Collaborate with Development, Operations, and Digital Design teams to deliver homepage, navigation, and landing page updates for regular and ad-hoc campaigns.

• Produce landing pages supporting marketing initiatives such as competitions and loyalty campaigns.

• Set up promotions within the CMS and monitor content performance using analytics tools.

• Support marketplace trading operations, including pricing, margin calculators, and issue resolution.

• Create and upload SEO content blocks and collaborate with agencies and internal teams to drive on-site SEO improvements.

• Support the production of blog pages and other marketing content to enhance SEO and PR efforts.

About You

You're a highly organised and motivated individual with a keen eye for detail and a passion for e-commerce. You thrive in a fast-paced environment where priorities can shift quickly, and you’re confident juggling multiple tasks while keeping quality and accuracy at the forefront.

You’re comfortable working with content management systems, digital tools, and analytics platforms — and ideally have some experience in a multichannel or retail environment. Whether it’s proofreading product content, building campaign pages, or collaborating with colleagues across marketing, design, and tech teams, you bring energy, focus, and a solutions-oriented mindset to everything you do.

You’re also naturally curious — someone who takes ownership, looks for ways to improve things, and wants to grow within a team that values collaboration, creativity, and digital excellence.

Experience

• Basic understanding of website construction and management.

• Strong computer literacy, proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

• Ideally, experience in a B2C e-commerce environment delivering regular website updates within a multichannel business.

• Experience supporting change in a dynamic business environment is desirable.

• Ideally, hands-on experience with CMS platforms, Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, and video editing apps.

• Basic to intermediate HTML/CSS skills, including experience turning digital designs into web landing pages.

• Familiarity with digital analytics tools such as Google Analytics 360 or Adobe Analytics is a plus..

Capabilities

• Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment, working well under pressure and to tight deadlines.

• Strong collaboration skills with internal teams and third parties.

• Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.

• Excellent verbal communication and teamworking skills.

• Outstanding written language skills.

• Highly computer literate and comfortable working with multiple digital tools.
